Generic SIP Provisioning Details

Please note that the details below refer to the username example created below.

The Username and Register Name will be the same for each Generic SIP device. This will consist of 3 parts, with the first two separated by an underscore:

A number and numbers with arrows
Description automatically generated with medium confidence

In the above image, there are two parts to take note of:

Extension Number: 1234

Unique Device ID: 1234567

Another way of looking at this would be: (Extension Number)_(Unique Device ID)SboSS

If you need to get the Username for the device again, you can do this by rebuilding the device.

SIP Server: The SIP Server for the device to provision will be the same as the Customer Service ID seen in Portal e.g. 91796fonesensesupport

Outbound Proxy Server needs to be enabled and set to: sail-core01.a4uc.com.au

Outbound Proxy Port: This varies depending on the transport method used and does not always require definition.

  • TCP: 5080

  • UDP: 5060

Please be aware that the location of where to input these credentials will differ between devices. To show where they need to go, we have attached screenshots of the old and new versions of the Yealink Device Web Portal with the sample credentials mentioned above to help illustrate how it should be entered.
